Birthday Giveaway Snow Globe

Today is my Birthday and I am now exactly 4 minutes into it. Everyone in the house is asleep except me and my feline friend. So what better way to celebrate than with a present. And, isn't it better to give than to receive? In the spirit of the season, I am giving away this sweet vintage snow globe, which enchantingly plays 'Silent Night' amongst the silvery glitter. It can be yours by leaving a comment below, to this question:

If you could have any wish granted, what would it be?

I will randomly choose a winner on 12/12 and announce the lucky person next Monday.
Good Luck! and, Happy Birthday to me! 12/4 at 12:04 with a 4 in my age - FOURTITUDE (:

Happy Birthday! I saw your lovely globe on my site blog roll and just had to come over to see it. I had no idea you were planing on giving it away! I hope you have a wonderful day and Many Happy Returns! My wish . . . it is hard to have just one wish . . . would it be for the larger world . . . world peace or a more personal . . . to be a more content and loving friend, mother, sister etc. or to fulfill my creative spirits possibilities. Maybe that would be the best personal wish for it could reach out and help others the world over. Or maybe I should just wish that I could make a wish. ;>)

happy belated birthday, Maria. From childhood, I learned that if you tell someone what you wish for; your wish won't come true. So, at present, I must keep it secret: if by some chance the wish is granted - you will be the first to hear. Happy Holidays, kim

Hello Maria and friends,
Hmm, my wish? Seems greedy to make a wish when I feel so many of my wishes have already been granted. But, let's see. I don't suppose you mean wishes like a new fence? or maybe new capet upstairs? no? Ooohhh, you mean something more worldly, less about me and more about others (there's a novel idea). Well, if I close my eyes and really consider this, I guess I'd wish.... that the world would stop, just stop! Right now, just the way it is - no more no less. Just stop - not even slow down - just stop. I could just take a deep breath and enjoy just the way it is - right NOW! So, there it is - my wish.
Merry Christmas - happy noel.
